We read scientific papers for a living!

TL;DResearch is curated by two professors, both employed by the Centre for Planetary Habitability in Oslo, Norway: Hope Jahren (@hopejahren) and Brian Schubert (@schubertBA).

Brian and Hope have been reading scientific papers together since they first partnered up to study plant biology, agriculture, nutrition and paleoclimate way back in 2008. Brian runs a research program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, you can read more about his current projects on his lab webpage. The short version: we are two University professors who want to help the public better understand climate change. We made this site to help journalists access and understand the latest scientific findings on climate, energy and technology.
